Community Pharmacy's We Care For Program: Partnering with Local Groups to Raise Funds

We Care For Program

In 2019 we started the We Care For Program, a program designed to partner with local community groups in order to increase their exposure in the community and assist in raising much needed funds for their cause.

Community Pharmacy have been proud to partner with a number of local charities, Community groups and sporting organisations, and although 2020 had a lot of planned activities cancelled, we are looking forward to getting the program back running even stronger than before. Some of the organisations we have partnered with are Knox Infolink, Lions Club of Wantirna, Nunawading Spectres Basketball Club, Washington Park Cricket Club and Knox Community Christmas.

The program donates funds through a % of membership fees received, gold coin donations received from the witnessing or stat decs and documents by our Pharmacists, and the sale of our environmentally friendly paper bags.

The use of our store to sell raffle tickets, set up displays and promotional materials or hold donation drives is another benefit we offer trough the We Care For… program. If conditions allow and appropriate permits are held Sausage sizzles, lolly drives, and cake stalls are other ideas that we can help to facilitate at our stores.

As a Not For Profit organisation, our ties to the local Community are what we believe sets us apart from other Pharmacies, and the We Care For…program is our way of giving back.
